The unique frame of CVM is specifically designed for chromoly material, which essentially brings out the balance and contrast from tubing architecture. The need of highly skilled welding workmanship again truly reveals the following aesthetic as well.
There might be other bikes lighter, yet not the aesthetic comes from the integration of design, material and architecture.
放眼台灣的道路品質，對於鋼管優異的吸收衝擊特性，正是一個絕佳的發揮場合。容易令鋼管生鏽的海島型氣候，恰好可以運用當代風格的表面塗裝處理來徹底隔絕。另外一方面，乾淨又耐用的皮帶驅動縱然性能優秀，卻需要特別設計的車架來匹配。若能發展出一台構型別緻簡約、同時相容於鍊條及皮帶兩種系統的車架，那會是多麼有意思的架構呀！
為什麼排除了碳纖維與鋁合金、選擇了古典的鉻鉬鋼？除了鋼管特有的吸震調性之外，多年來的產業設計經驗，其實讓我對於碳纖維與鋁合金的優勢及限制了然於心；古典的鋼材卻給了我突破既有構型，重新解構、再建構出的全新切入角度。在徹底運用了鉻鉬鋼的材料特性後，我們的方向在20″小徑車架構下，能達到相近鋁合金車的重量等級、更棒的強度以及更優秀的吸震韌性
